Skahill Designs is definitely a family business. Over the last few months, our daughter has shown a dedicated desire to pursue her artistic interests, with coloring books, cut-and-paste projects, and, of course, her “advice” on new shirt designs and ideas.
Making sure we set aside “art time” everyday; trying to keep track of all the markers, crayons, and paper and making sure they don’t end up buried in the couch cushions; and being sure to encourage all of her creativity (as long as she does her best to keep it off the walls) are the ways we ensure this little family business of ours will keep the designs flowing for years to come.
